About the new #quiet messenger: it's p2p over Tor. Seems to optimized for large communities.
It looks like the Slack/Discord private replacement that SimpleX cannot be (right now at least).
So its 'messaging' using IPFS and Tor?

Not exactly, acco6 to the readme, they use "orbitDB" for the p2p layer, whatever that means ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
OrbitDB uses IPFS
Why they don't just say that
