I do not work in bitcoin.
And I recognize how hard it would be to come out publicly against something my employer was doing.
I think 1sat = 1sat was your way of signaling your view without having to be publicly critical.
I think insinuating there’s some sort of firewall between the magazine and conference is laughable.
I never said there was a firewall… I’m saying I have nothing to do with the product, I don’t benefit from their success, it’s not my budget to make decisions about. idk how much simpler to put it.
I can certainly weigh in, talk to that team, and give an opinion from the outside, but that’s basically it. I can also come out publicly against it if I wanted to, but I don’t really care. I won’t be buying those inscriptions, if someone wants to that’s on them.
Just have to cope. Not going to start policing how people spend their sats.
I think we should all stack sats and keep working to bring more users to BTC & Nostr.
