Is this thing good/secure enought? My dad gave it to me as Birthday gift the last year but I haven't never used it.

Definitely use with Sparrow Wallet. Yes, it's self custody. Note, there are big differences between Lightning and Bitcoin networks.
Yeah I know I can't send btc from LN network to that directly.
