Yes, Plato's Cave is a given. Tbh, I haven't went very deep in my research with said directors. I think they give them some synthetic drugs and show them something complicated to explain with the rational mind. Just because you see female features in men bodies and vice versa doesn't mean you should do the sex change. Hence my note about poverty from earlier. Stop being poor has little to do with the material things.
