I've used it in barrels of water for kind trump (5 years) storage. It inhibits algae growth.
Pure colloidal silver, properly made, is a powerful and safe antimicrobial. It can be used both topically and internally as an antidote for bacteria, viruses, fungi, and single cell parasites.
It's effective even against MRSA infections that toxic conventional antibiotics can't safely handle.
A word of caution; please be sure that your source of colloidal silver is a good one? The highest quality CS is typically between 10 and 20 parts per million, 80% to 90% silver ions evenly dispersed in pure, distilled water. The remaining 10% to 20% is nano-scale silver particles that are too small to precipitate. You also want to be sure your CS is not contaminated with other compounds such as silver chloride or silver nitrate.
