Assets can be remade you don't even have to use the same engine, just the same mechanics. I love counter strike. What I don't like is how Valve has a complete dictatorship over it and how they just randomly nerf or make weapons OP, I want a counter strike that's set in stone, and the people can go back to any version they like if they don't like the updates.
