there is a real possibility that the US, the 'land of the free' is one of the few States with the capabilities to sustainably suppress btc within its own borders, and that it will never really flourish in the US in my lifetime. its combo of orwellian surveillance and financial dragnet, mature multi-party propoganda and people completely reliant on digital tech to survive will make it potentially one of the last places on earth where it truly flourishes.
