So um, NVIDIA I think it was, they said that they will no longer be supplying chips for computers.
It's all going to openAI so they can use it for more data centres and processing power.
All the other manufacturers doubled their prices within hours of the announcement and retailers are also charging more now because they know consumers are going to be desperate
RAM manufacturer Crucial was shut down, and they had one of three RAM fabs for consumers. They went for the AI nonsense now.
