And could use it on the funding side in the same way I suppose.
One of the biggest limitations of QV has always been identity, but you’ve potentially mitigated that by the way the participant tree is built. I suppose participants could easily game the system by creating multiple identities so you would need to be quite careful there.
They could yeah, but what you can do is sever the tree when a bad actor is discovered.
The idea of the participant tree is to make the cost of sybil attacks higher than the cost of defending against them.
The Wikipedia isn’t a bad read on the topic if you aren’t familiar. It definitely has some interesting properties that might be good for the health of a community-driven project IMO
