Future: #Reticulum trade networks
Discussion
HELL. YES.
Do you think lightning could run over reticulum?
Absolutely.
Same goes for relays.
Quite "easy" to do
Reticulum is an encrypted protocol, so you can run that over anything you want i.e. LoRa/HAM radio (low bandwidth), http i.e. Wifi; this is what we'd use for lightning, relays, etc
Can even stream 4k movies np
I have this vision of a global network of DEXs, with people doing arbitrage across them. We have to come up with some kind of short duration credit instrument to facilitate. Think US treasury repo market.
I think #Reticulum can facilitate some very interesting network topologies and security assumptions.
If there's a near endless opportunity for arbitrage, this solves the FOSS funding problem. It creates a positive feedback loop: good software makes more people money, which funds more devs, who make better software.
No need to play the lottery game of creating a unicorn startup and trying to capture a market. Everyone gets rich without having to sell IP.
Definitely on to something here I like it

Thinking more,
I like the fact that a large extractive corporate can't be built on this model. Less bloat, less corruption, more prioritization of tech that actually matters. The current system incentivizes quantity and manipulation. What we really need are tools that work EXTREMELY well.
