Usury is wrong and always has been. We've fooled ourselves by making exception for the depreciating asset called fiat currency. No one will lend hard money for decades.

Okay, I’m intrigued. Will check it out with more attention after work.

I'll have to check this out more thoroughly. I don't think we've been claiming lending won't happen in Bitcoin, but that lending would be rebalanced.

This is an initial go at the subject, but I think it's a good start.

Cannot find the article, suffice to say finance would continue so long as the person looking for capital has the willingness and capacity to repay it in the future and is will to pay the price - most likely an interest component at the ‘real’ interest rate / cost of debt capital.
