Of the other social media I use that is algo drive , I’m noticing they’re all getting progressively worse. Like, really bad. Especially YouTube.

it's lossy compression, they are trying to sell it as intelligence but it's actually just lossy compression
so the quality declines, the variety of the product will continue to fail to grow and people will eventually get bored of seeing the same shit over and over again
it's like stock photos, that cost energy instead of royalties
