The #nostr insight that hit me like a brick wall at #BitcoinAtlantic came from the statement: ‘Signed messages relayed.” I realized that this was the fundamental difference between the current platforms and what is now being built with #nostr. The key idea is that the relay is free to do whatever it wants, but with the minimum of only relaying messages that are signed. Similarly, #npub holders are free to use any app or relay they choose so long as they sign with their #nsec.
