I don’t see many people trying to explain what cashu is or how to use them.
Not looking for an explanation but don’t see much effort in trying to explain this concept to people. Instead we get endless nut jokes 🤷♂️

Inspired by Ben, propagated by every cashu user. Saying all this with love. If the effort was taken more seriously, perhaps it would have faster / wider adoption.
Education is expensive and takes time but it could be argued that a seamless UX using Cashu on the backend is the actual catalyst and that most people don't necessarily need to know how it works.
Agree that good UX helps a lot and we don’t need to know how everything works under the hood but it’s still nice to have a grasp of the concept without seeing only nut jokes.

I'm saying your not very objective, as cashu has seen an insane adoption in only about 6 months ago of starting to be developed by a single guy nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg , to now where even you have heard of it and multiple open source projects are being independently developed.

Agree! I do not see it’s point or how is it better (except privacy) than the LN. So far I only found it to be more troublesome to use, with no actual benefit. Looking for a good written explanation. 🐶🐾🫡

1. go to nutstash.app to create your wallet
2. go to nutminer.semisol.dev (a mint) to mine for sats-token
3. when you find some, copy the token (starts with cashuAey...something)
4. Go to Receive in and paste.
5. If 4 doesn't work, go to Mint section in nutstash and add nutminer mint first.

We're working on a protocol, not an app. Those who work on it get it. Those who research it get it too. It's not at a point where masses of people need to "get it".
