US NFP mixed. Job numbers below estimates but wages ran a bit hot: US economy added 209k jobs in June below Street’s 230k forecast and far short of the ADP number of +497k. Private employment gains were just 149k, down from +259k in May. The Household survey showed 273k job additions in June. The unemployment rate (which is based off Household survey) ticked down to 3.6% as expected. Wages coming in at +0.4% MoM vs. +0.3% expected and +4.4% YoY (up from +4.3% in May & ahead of Street’s +4.2% forecast). May wages were revised higher. (via @knowledge_vital)
