Hi nostr, checking in on this Friday evening, a little tired but happy. I've been thinking about where i want to plant my new loquat trees that i bought today. I bought them on impulse, so had not planned where they would go. I'll sleep on it, and tomorrow i will know, at least thats usually how it works for me. Isnt it amazing how our subconscious minds work in the background, while we sleep?

Something else i've been thinking about is trying to learn how to run my own btc node. I'll have to do lots of reading and watch lots of videos i'm sure, but its something thats been resurfacing from the back of my mind. I might look into a Start 9. Nice. For the node just download Bitcoin core and run it on your regular computer to at least get the hang of it. It's simpler than what one would believe. Once you understand what the software is doing setup a separate computer for a node.

Exciting about the trees.

I’ve also been thinking about running a node. I’m leaning towards the MyNode model 2. It’s a little pricier, but plug and play and seems really easy to set up.

I’m a newbie. Running BTC node on Start9 was a breeze. Takes a while to download, but setting it ups is just a few clicks. Now, a lightning node? That’s nuts. Took me three days. FWIW, I always find BTCSessions very helpful on YT.
