load lineage OS onto an unlocked android phone bought with cash

buy esim sub with silent.link using btc, lightning or monero

download amber app, create nsec/npub

download 0xChat, use amber to log in

update your profile with [npub]@npub.cash

-- congrats, u now have an anon phone that can communicate on nostr, make calls on nostr, and can send and receive btc using the native wallet + npub.cash address. incredible!

im thinking more about how low friction that is compared to getting set up the trad way with services.

certainly not mainstream but can be done in a few steps!

Agreed. I wasn’t trying to disagree, just keeping full disclosure.

People rave about grapheneOS without also mentioning the downside of using custom software.

could even remove the amber app step and npub.cash step if were talking a person having a phone that can connect with anyone, anywherein the world on the nostr network and no trad lock in or kyc to do so 🙂
