For what it’s worth, it’s a very tiny fraction of the left (in America, at least) that look up to this guy.
Most of us think he was whack, or at best, well-intentioned but terribly misguided.
To the contrary, I would argue that it's because of all these traits that the left idolizes him.
All those traits make him the poster child of the statist slave mentality.
