Slow and steady wins the race. Quick and fast finishes last.
Generally, mass matters more than you're velocity pretty much all the time. Black holes & shit kinda terminally point to that fact.
In a human sense, the metaphor still works. If you are or can become big & pick up speed, your direction can really be anywhere you want.
