I used to be down on myself for not getting into Bitcoin earlier… until 2022 I thought it was a complete scam. “I wish I bought earlier, I could have stacked so much more” is a very common thread for bitcoiners. But would we have? You sure you wouldn’t have fallen into shitcoining or sold at 2x, 3x… 10x gain? nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle riffed about the block size wars with nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx recently. How would you have gotten through that time? Are you sure you would have sold BCH and stuck to BTC? If i’m being honest with myself, I probably wouldn’t have.
Nowadays I’m thankful for the journey I’m on and completely content with how it has gone. I’m thankful for being a goldbug prior to BTC because it gave me a foundation in Austrian Economics and money that helped me understand Bitcoin. It helped me stay away from the temptation of shitcoining and the allure of fiat gains.
All of those years of studying Austrian economics for what seemed like only theoretical knowledge, losing money on the market, being stuck with marginal gold gains, entrepreneurship lessons, failed businesses, fiat career… all of that shit culminated in me having a quicker and deeper understanding of Bitcoin when I finally decided to check my ego and go down the rabbit hole.
I was able to ride on the shoulders of giants… ride the wave of their experience and knowledge nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a nostr:npub1k7vkcxp7qdkly7qzj3dcpw7u3v9lt9cmvcs6s6ln26wrxggh7p7su3c04l nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs nostr:npub1hk0tv47ztd8kekngsuwwycje68umccjzqjr7xgjfqkm8ffcs53dqvv20pf nostr:npub1s33sw6y2p8kpz2t8avz5feu2n6yvfr6swykrnm2frletd7spnt5qew252p nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak Jack and Odell I already mentioned… just to name a few. I was able to listen to what they had to say about their experiences and learn from both their successes and failures. How amazing of a gift did they give all of us? Forever grateful🙏
It’s been a beautiful ride and I’m pretty pumped for 2025.
