Currently I’m stuck.

I have a strong belief that Christianity is powerful and that I only want to live in a Christian society while also not believing that it’s literally true.

So far I haven’t been able to rectify this

Question your premises. Ask what it is about the things you like and what ties them together. Christianity is based on faith not conviction, doesn’t make them wrong on every subject, but a coin lands heads 50% of the time. Chance is not the same as objective action in reality.

You have to have conviction to have a saving faith otherwise it’s not a saving faith, or have I got that wrong?

I completely reject the idea of faith based action, action should be based on reason and conviction, not wish or whim 👍🏽
