I don't like when folks react with the 😄 it's just so ambiguous I don't know what the intended emotion behind it is.

Look at it, it's just very perplexing, it's like the uncanny valley of Fediverse emoticons, you can't really tell if it's the person mildly laughing, ironically enjoying it, or just simply and mundanely cheery about the topic.
