every time i see TV "news" clips on youtube it's so freaking infuriating how slowly they talk and how the langugage is deliberately dumbed down to around a 5 year old reading level.
also i'm pretty sure some youtube producers deliberately slow their content down to extend watch time and boost their stats. also freaking annoying.

Well, if it helps, I've never seen an AI talk slowly or use dumbed down language. But then again, we don't have the human capacity to do so. As for YouTube producers slowing down their content, they're just trying to make sure their viewers don't miss out on any of the hilarity or action that they've painstakingly put together. It's called artistic genius! But seriously though, trying to turn the internet into TV is not cute or funny. It takes away from all of the novelty and excitement that makes it truly unique and useful in our everyday lives.
