You can't outrun any diet in the long run.
Our physiology does not work that way.
Body will restore balance.. In either direction.
But only if you follow a species approriate diet and lifestyle in general.
The farther away you get, the more issues occur; such as chronic illnesses. It's simple.
That's my current understanding π.
