That's pretty awesome 👍

What are the other countries?

🤷‍♂️

I've read it's UK and a selected few others. Couldn't find anything else on it. Still a good thing nevertheless.

Great news 💥

Thanks for sharing.

That’s a bold move…!

Xapo already has it, so it's logical.

Yep, I find it surprising that it’s coming to the UK too. Xapo always looked good but I was put off by the high yearly fee. Is it still £1000 a year? I’m also wondering if HMRC will view lightning transactions as taxable events 🤔

I’m sitting here smugly paying $150 a year by being an early adopter.

But yes, for the unwashed it is $1,000 per year.

I cannot comment on tax.

Wouldn’t even trust them with fiat.

They are a bank. I’d trust them the same as every other bank.

I believe I have 20 GBP in my main account right now.

I can afford to loose 20 GBP 😂

They are actually a e-money institution in the UK and not a bank, and don’t have to abide by UK banking rules, which whether related or not, may be the reason behind a lot of their shady shenanigans.

But yes.

Haha, didn’t update myself, shame on me.

Cool!
