Testing RAID1: "Operation continuing on 1 devices." 💯

Interesting proposal of setup to add redundancy to the LND database:

* 2TB SSD --> mount point --> [/] (for OS system + Bitcoin blockchain + Fulcrum database + others) ~ 100-150€

* x2 128 GB SSD - RAID1 array on md0 --> mount point [/data/lnd] (for LND databases) ~ 15€x2 ~ 30€

Total ~ 160€ on a strong storage configuration

Thinking about this, wdyt?

I would do just two disk mirror for the whole system. Long downtimes for node when system / bitcoind drive dies aren’t cool. Unless you have a plan how to restore it fast. But just going 2x2T could be cheaper if you also count in time spent.

P.S. Btrfs or ZFS mirror in theory is more reliable than mdraid.
