Any cryptocurrency is just a tool. I might argue on whether or not it's just a payment tool, but it's a tool anyway.
Beware of those who keep saying it's anything more than that. Because that's a big lie.
No tool is ever going to change the human nature.
I don't agree with that. There are tools that do change human nature. Not by evolving it into something that isn't, but by enhancing or suppressing various facets of our nature. Those are changes, and sometimes very significant ones, even if the fundamentals are not changed.
