Oh so they added timestretch to the dt2. This is very interesting!
OT is great but a lot of menu diving. Dt is way more immediate. Very cool

Would be amazing if they added even just one timestretch machine to the ar2. I can dream π
Well... I arrived at the AR after 1.7 but i think 1.7 was a massive update. and I imagine that's kinda stretching the limits of the platform βΒ pure speculation on my part... I don't think the analog boxes have a concept of 'Machines' in the same way as the Syntakt, Digitone II, or Digitakt II... ?
yeah in my quest to understand why anyone would bother with the OT coming from the DTII I think it begs the question what role the OT plays anymore... I understand the cross-fader and live looping etc. is a big part of the OT but these are small updates on the DTII given the 'machine' modular paradigm of the new Elektron boxes...
I think one major one is the audio connectivity. OT is hard to beat on that one.
Same style of connectivity we have on ar and a4
i hope they never replace the ar and a4 as i think they're perfect in their imperfection too but that doesn't seem rational from their perspective. then again, they abandoned the Machinedrum...
I agree. Form factor, synths, analog, sequencer, audio outputs, performance pads. Hard to beat these premium machines
yeah... i've been contemplating the ergonomics of how i have positioned the small boxes and the larger boxes... i have the small boxes closer to me, but based on what you said about 2 hands etc... im gonna swap em around...
Smaller ones make more sense farther yes.
