Bitcoiners who don't enjoy getting unbankend aren't real Bitcoiners anyways.

You laugh about us Monero Bros for having to go through phases of delisting not recognising, that it is us who try to pay everything with electronic cash since 2009.

Whenever a Bitcoiner tells me he doesn't pay his rent in BTC or has a Xapo bank account or a Visa tied to his custodial cryptobank I see this as a Larp. Early Bitcoiners 2009-2012 were different. Early Bitcoiners ended up in Monero. Working for adoption on the ground.

It'll pay off in the long run in XMR purchasing power. Just like making merchants adopt BTC in the early days paid off in USD purchasing power.

As much as I believe that BTC will go up against USD, as much I believe that XMR is the real deal for electronic cash.

I don't laugh at monero bros... I dislike some of the influencers lying about bitcoin, but I like monero and want it to succeed.

As an early Bitcoiners I love Bitcoin. It brought me economic freedom. At the same time it brought me to Monero. And as the world moves more dystopian every day I started to value my Monero more than my Bitcoins. One is my digital cash and a private store of value. The other is a great investment and store of value like my gold holdings.

Both are tools to increase freedom in your life. Both have trade offs. Don't mix up NGU with real freedom.

In today's panopticon NGU can have many different negative consequences on your (mental) freedom. Especially if other people know about it.
