I've had a look at BBQr and it's pretty neat!

We did some tests already and with aggressively optimizing the JSON and using a compressed binary encoding we gained around 50% space efficiency. That means 4 nuts per QR instead of 2.

-–> I see no alternative to animated QR codes.

So in two frames you can have 8!

If one could draw a funny figure in the middle of each frame, so that it looks like an animated cartoon with a "cloud of information" around, it would become instantly popular.
