This is a pretty narrow sighted view of regulated industries and where it make sense and where it doesn’t
It makes sense when you look at the role in ensuring the rights and wellbeing of our posterity
It always ends with regulatory capture, ossification of that industry, and distortion of incentives. Market regulation and respect for property rights is the way.
