I would say Nostr in practice is more of a place of free expression.
While the vast majority currently is focused on Bitcoin, and such topics, there is a small group of Monero users on here too.
I agree if The Bitcoiners on here were focused on Building utility, and value, projects which contribute to The Bitcoin ecosystem would flourish here, unfortunately that does not appear to be the case.
From what I've seen "Sex Worker" content, and TikTok conversion posters get more interaction than the Bitcoin contributors.
And I'm not saying this to be down putting but unfortunately Nostr falls victim to human behavior also.
People want to be part of the tribe, and get sex, that's basic behaviors, that not even Nostr can break.
the signal is there if you want to focus on it.
nostr is like a beanbag chair. if you want to sit upright, you're going to have to make it happen for yourself
I try to hone in on Interesting projects in the ecosystem but the posts are rare.
It's all good, there's different accounts with different interesting stuff outside of programming too.
Generally, I try to follow people who talk about the big things rather than small things.
