What is the purpose of the alias key exchange?
And is the public nature of messages relay being solved? I mean the fact that even if the message is encrypted, the fact that I'm messaging certain user is still public.
Thank you for your question. The purpose of using the alias key is to hide the real pubkey. Even if the message is public, others can't know who is chatting with whom and what the content of the chat is. However, we will be releasing an update tomorrow introducing secret chat, which will be even more private.
