The best way to onboard new users would be to create a suite of simple utility apps or services on nostr protocol (outside social). Once user "log in" to any of these apps, they will automatically become part of the entire nostr ecosystem.

Let's brainstorm some ideas together. What are your daily driver apps?

We need to fix our own DMs first 😂, once SimpleX is integrated we can do something in this area.

Btw, nice dp! I have great respect for Mahatma Gandhi.

Yeah the DMs are fucked rn when you can login with someone else's pubkey and see metadata of who they've been chatting with.

- Messaging (email, sms, slack)

- Memos (notes, reminders)

- Calendar

- Media (mine and streamed)

We can build an advanced note-taking app on nostr that is synced across devices, encryption and public sharing/collaboration capabilities.

I can imagine its architecture. 🤔

Loving the sound of this

Calendar would be something that the community could use.

I also use that everyday, wondering how we can make the calendar app better on Nostr. Maybe shared calendar or event sharing features 🤔, not sure.

I believe this could be a good solution for a reliable note-taking app, I have some experience with self-hosting Note taking app with WebDAV synchronization.

Note taking with encryption & collaboration will be a great tool 🤔

Thank you

You guys are so close. I have to speed up.

As a doctor here are the centralised services I use daily:

- my professional agenda

- my medical record app

- my SS payment system

- my card payment system

The private medical record mechanism will dramatically expand the horizons, and this model can be replicated in almost every industry.

I think nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z is working on it.

Lots of interests fighting against.. we will see.

I know, forces with unlimited fiat and politicians in their pocket. It's a tough fight.

Yep, they will come at you hard, anyway they can..💵😍🏆🥇💀 Could be fun..😁

Spotify, Audible, calendar, eBay, weather app.

The audio/audiobook sharing and marketplaces are already in progress, and Nostr fits perfectly in this particular space.

This summer I'm learning web development and React to make this a reality - distributed knowledge management. The planning/outlining phase is over, now I'm about 1/4 through a React course to hopefully get on my way towards implementation 🤜🤛

This sounds very interesting, good luck 🤜🤛

Id love an app like notion. i currently use nextcloud for personal notes, calender, and other things. I know highlighter is in it's infancy and seems super promising.

Beyond notes I use my RSS feed a lot.

An easy-to-use note-taking app with encryption, advanced realtime collaboration and syncing functionalities seems like a very reasonable idea. The collaboration feature can even create a network effect.

I was even planning to build something like this for myself. I should definitely look into it.

I dont know that this is simple, but a map and navigation app could be useful. OSM is helpful but lacks some of the specificity and features of the Big Tech options.

This is genius, friend!

Thinking about this, and promoting the idea...

We need to pull the masses in.🙏😁🫂💜😆👍💯‼️
