nostr:npub1vwymuey3u7mf860ndrkw3r7dz30s0srg6tqmhtjzg7umtm6rn5eq2qzugd talked about wanting a plug in for obsidian with nostr recently too
nostr:npub10a8kw2hsevhfycl4yhtg7vzrcpwpu7s6med27juf4lzqpsvy270qrh8zkw did I get the right guy to write the Obsidian to Nostr?
How much do I have to crowdsource for making a simple (it is always simple if you don't have to write the code) plugin in the other direction 🤔
Idea: By adding npubs in plugin, you can see notes of that user IN Obsidian. (Maybe last ones or based on time or download the whole shitload IDC)
Extra cool would be a search like on keywords/tags 🫣 on the fly as well.
Now that I can go through these Notes, I can store those that I would like in a local note in my Obsidian, while linking it still to the original note (read it just contains the note ID still in a njump style f.e.)
This way I can organize notes in a personal structured way, along use of the Nostr Hive mind,... Any thoughts percolating out of these, I can post with your other plug in 👀
But the first question ofc...
You THAT James? 🤭

Interesting idea!! A while back, I was thinking of making a “hard copy likes/favourites/highlights” feature - where you can select which notes from these lists you’d like to download into your md file in Obsidian. This sounds similar to what you’re asking for?
I could add this to the current plugin! I am trying to keep this plugin low noise, so I’m avoiding bringing too much data like full feeds into the Obsidian workspace if you know what I mean…
I really like the njump idea to reference these hard copies notes back to source 👌🏼
Thanks for this feedback guys! I’m gonna start working on a prototype 🛠️⚙️🧪
Just add ideas/comments here and I’ll pick them up as I go 🫡❤️
Here’s what I wrote a couple of days ago about this:
