It integrates Lightning tips more into Nostr client UX. When your client and your receiving wallet both support it, you’ll see things like in-app notifications for tips you receive, tally of sats tipped to an individual post, etc.
Here’s an example of how Damus integrates it. This post from jb55 has received 6.8k sats in tips. He also gets a notification for each one in his app notifications tab.

Yea still only in TestFlight version of Damus I think. Supposed to be included in the next App Store version. Amethyst and Snort both support it now too. Several wallets starting to support it. LN.tips is the best in my opinion.
#[4] hasn’t released that version in TestFlight yet. At least not for me.
Such a game changer when people see actual tip numbers, it will draw people to this platform - I think TikTok style clients will be the biggest draw, and they'll earn so much, live, daily.
It'll basically instantly incentivize more content creation and cultivating much more serious followings.
