Right rear caliper had seized. Left rear now also affected. Calipers, pads, discs all need replacing both sides. £1k all in inc. service and MOT pass later today. Ouch.
Frustrating thing is rear discs and pads were replaced last year with advisory of uneven wear. Lesson - should have had the advisory implications explained and changed the caliper last year. Maybe they did but I didn't hear it.

Yeah is it high time preference fiat thinking? If you spent £1k last year that's more sats than £1k this year...

True. I see your logic but I spent £650 last year on pads and discs. Would have been an extra £400 for caliper at the time which would have saved £1000 this year. Drive it till it breaks, or stops breaking maybe ;) Bitcoin does affect you think about all these things a little.
