When freedom is blocked, resistance becomes decentralized.

This week, I had the honor of speaking at the Democratic Decentralized Resistance an initiative hosted by the nostr:npub126e6hwd6a5std2upv9a22xwgvd8fyrhsx5wjjchv99g6nv3n4vhs5fr9g3 — a space dedicated to developing the digital tools we need to confront censorship, state-imposed silence, and the many obstacles authoritarian regimes use to limit our voices.

The gathering brought together 50 activists and technologists from around the world including nostr:npub1yxd53jkacz02yxfskkcmuwpscnfgzxx4mfpem6fs96a0jze8dfasgx3ylt , working collectively to strengthen our skills in secure communication, financial autonomy, and resilient networks. Moments like this remind us that when technology meets purpose, it becomes a powerful shield for those pushing back against repression.

And above all, we carry a truth that dictatorships fear: They can’t stop what they can’t control.

Our principles guide everything we build:

We are unblockable, untraceable, and unstoppable.

Each tool, each workshop, and each connection we forged reinforces our collective capacity to adapt, multiply, and keep moving forward — no matter the barriers.

I leave inspired, grateful, and more certain than ever that resistance does not fade. It evolves. It strengthens. And it always finds a way.

Special shout to nostr:npub1ax43cw5c998ke3efrkt50vdqxw5dn7jsflfall0c6gjhkn20d8lqjaknmv for making this possible.
