That is an INCREDIBLE piece of footage, it's part of the film "Senna". It genuinely brings me to tears just like it is now. He WAS a God, he was just on another level completely. There was a qualifying session, at Monaco in 1988 where he got pole position, ahead of Alan Prostè, who was also a very good driver. He out qualified Prost by 1.4 Seconds, in the same car on a track that is notoriously tricky. That is just unheard of, then or now. 1.4 fucking seconds man😳. That's like a week and a half in walking terms😂. Senna said afterwards, and I'm paraphrasing here "I just felt on a different dimension", that says it all. The man was just on another level.
