im not saying it will be better for sure under the US rule, but it had to change.

The US is not the world's police.

People are starving all over the world, is it the US military's job to fix those problems?

As if this admin cares anything about "starving Venezuelans" lol... They EXPLICITLY said it's all about the oil

Yes it‘s not the police of the world. Yet, the US turned from ‚police of the world’ to ‚bullying hegemon‘ who doesn‘t give a shit about optics anymore.

You are right, they don‘t give a shit.

But it‘s better to be dependent on a somewhat benevolent hegemon like the US who has proven to show mercy to former opponents (Germany) than getting robbed for sure by other powers who for sure were supporting current policies (RuZZia and the Chinese).
