How does it taste? Do you also add salt?
I don't salt the marinade. I do salt the onions. I do caramelized onions. No beef gravy. More of a steak and onions prep than the traditional liver in heavy beef gravy. The vinegar really draws out the sweetness in the sweet onions. None of the chalkiness you get from buttermilk marinades.
