Yes, and it's all about a status quo that people get really nice things. I mean yes nice things are awsome but if you cant you cant. Like my friend doesn't care telling people that her apartment is small or that her car is 15 years old. But she makes really good money and she is always doing stuff.
Even having her own apartment and a car are luxuries to a lot of people. Many have roommates and take public transit
