All the effective altruists who have lost their credibility due to polycules etc have suddenly become AI doomers (the current thing).
I really hate how these people keep co-opting decent ideas and turning them into horrible things.

Trust me bro, I didn't go to high school but I have an immeasurably high IQ.
Amazing how they can be that alarmist and somehow also manage to miss every real problem with AI and only propose solutions that make things worse.
