Get a propane torch and char (shou sugi ban style) any of the wood under soil level.
You can use linseed or mineral oil on the posts to get more life out of them as well
this is best.

Yes, especially if you bring the char a few inches above the concrete level. That's typically where they rot- where the water pools on the concrete. I also make my concrete at the top convex so water wicks off
