One was that the "will of the people" was impossible to measure.
Some might suggest voter turnout but when its a population voting on what to do with *your stuff* you're basically coerced into participating BC if you don't they'll vote away all your stuff
I used to think abstaining was the move but now I'm more sympathetic to people who vote out of essentially self defense
