#GM i had a dream this morning where i found this thing that was like a little marketing brochure, just a simple folded 4 page
on the outside it looked like a sammich, and then you open it up and it had all these pretty painted papier mache and various things with like ad panels on the inside
just as i woke up i was saying "this is the most amazing little piece of marketing i have ever seen" but the thing was fragile and was falling apart in my hands
Do you think it was symbolic?
yeah, definitely... like, definitely drawing attention to the way i am marketing my #realy project... it's nice, but it's a mess, and falling apart, it's what i love and all the pieces are pretty but it's lacking durability and constancy
i have no idea what to do about it because i would like more than anything to be able to focus on it and make it both beautiful AND robust, i'm spread too thin to do both at the same time as it stands
Sounds like you need a team
also need income
working on both, anyway, the dream highlighted the current fatal flaw and the subject matter of what needs to be done, gonna stew on it some more to figure out a plan
my work is a foundational element of a business model, it is just necessary really mainly to focus on a business need that it can be part of
at some point, one reaches a level of skill with something, that with sufficient advertising, a price for exclucive access to one's labor at this art is inevitable
it will come soon, i hope i don't have to fend off too many evil motherfuckers
