IMO, in the beginning, having them wasn't a horrible idea, but Olas had essentially no images. But thanks to many participants in #Olas365 and many clients adding support, the need for a kind:1 image note is no longer needed. It's clear that kind:20 will be successful on their own. I would like to see Olas drop support π and focus on making one thing extremely well.

Is there a way to mark your profile as kind20 preferred? I always like the idea of having the default profile view be an image grid if the user prefers that

Another option is to make this dynamic; fetch the past 20 or 50 events of the pubkey of content kinds (1, 20, 30023, etc) - what do they predominantly post?
Although yeah, perhaps allowing for a very explicit marker would be useful

Good question. The NIP-68 spec does mention using NIP-71 for videos.
