Oh, stop using French satanic units and get on board with Making Imperial Standard Again!

The metric system is a universal system, it's just the self-righteous Americans who don't give up on the imperial system :)

It's not universal. Not everyone in the universe uses it, therefore, it cannot be.

Base 12 is superior to base 10 for every day use. Just because we Americans are idiots, doesn't mean we can't be right about things on occasion.

I also prefer EVERYTHING to be decentralized, which, includes systems of measure. Centralization of weights and measures has been a long road to centralizing authority, culminating in the CBDCs we all abhor. Just because it is convenient does not make it better to have a completely cohesive set of weights and measures.

Decentralize EVERYTHING. Build bridges when necessary, but, keep them small and kinda rickety.

In my opinion, you are only justifying the mistake of the Americans in this case😑

Never underestimate the power of a delusional idiot.

But I do think that I'm correct in this case. I also happen to prefer building things with standard over metric, though that is certainly usage bias. I'm actually very conversant in both (though once you get away from physics or linear measurement, I get a little fuzzy), more so that most, since I regularly convert units in several of my hobbies and have done so for... Ugh, over 25 years now?

Arguing is useless. You and I do not agree on this

Good. Now we can go forth and solve the world's problems.
