Beanie Babies were sold in a controlled market with promise of profit to desperate housewives hoping to make money on the backend. Some made a profit, most lost money.

It is highly unethical, but not criminal, to prey on desperate people.

Some Memecoins like $HAWK and $TRUMP are in the same category. Shady insiders make all the money, desperate people get dumped on.

All are fueled by greed. Please don't get scammed.

I experienced the sports cards ruggings lol. Out of all the cards I owned only handful have any value. Luckily I had a lot of original set Pokemon cards dumped them all when they were pumping lately for more Bitcoin. Might end up green on all the card buying I did as a kid lol.
