Can abolish most of the federal agencies

FCC should not have gotten involved, but that they did does not make me regret the result. Kimmel was a propagandist, not dissident comedian. He is free to speak on social media (a courtesy not offered by Kimmel and his ilk to people they canceled.) He and ABC did it over the public networks to the detriment of the public. What he said in this instance was NOT cancel-worthy IMO, but his act more generally should have been shit-canned long ago.
I don t watch much TV. I once saw Kimmel on the Man Show. It was lame, but I'm a free speech maxi. I don't want the government infringing on anyone's right to speech, especially people I don't like.
Agree with Ted Cruz the FCC shouldn’t have been the one threatening him, but the idea that the left will *now* use this power against dissenters is laughable. They *already* used it. There is no slippery slope because we already slid to the bottom of it. This is nothing compared to what they already did.
So I think we have to realize we’re in a different world now. I would draw the line at banning him from social media (as the left did to many they cancelled or debanking or any of that.) He is entitled to free speech.
But shitcanning this propagandist from the public airwaves was long overdue. It’s just the optics aren’t great because his offense wasn’t that egregious in this instance, and because the FCC got involved when the public outcry might have sufficed.
